COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING

Over the past three years, as Calgarians rallied to create a new Centre for Child & Adolescent Mental Health, the need to support an equally vulnerable Emerging Adult population became evident and urgent. Today, sobering facts and community concern heightened by the fallout of Covid-19 have inspired the development of an integrated clinical and research mental health initiative focused on helping 16- to 24-year-olds. Bright Youth Journey is supporting Emerging Adult Mental Health Research in Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation(ACHF). We ask for your generous help. Your donation will help to better support young people who are falling between the cracks of the pediatric and adult mental health care systems. 

Another part we would like to support is Neuro developmental Disorders among Children. Our community support is required to help the ACH build an integrated clinical and translational research system to develop new knowledge and therapies, enhance clinical care coordination. Bright Youth Journey Teen Volunteers raised $6,080 for the ACHF Health Program!

Bright Youth Journey is running a fundraising event for The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), a major children's hospital in Canada. Since 1875, SickKids has been a leader and innovator in the fight to improve children's health. The health and well-being of our children mean a better future for our society. We're asking for your help. Your donation will help update hospital infrastructure, advance scientific research in pediatric health, and prepare the next generation of leaders in the field.
