Volunteer Opportunities: BYJ believes volunteerism is crucial for creating healthy, passionate, and connected youth. Through volunteering, you can create a positive impact and help shape the future of our community. You will work with a group of passionate youth volunteers together and build your experiences! You could have talents to share with others by coaching, but even if you don't have any experience, come join us! We have lots of openings now for the 2023-2024 year.

Program Development Coordinator:

Job Description:

-          Coordinate the potential new courses to align with the BYJ goals and developments;

-          Arrange potential teacher's interview time with executives;

-          Email course zoom link to the new teacher;

-          Coordinate the new courses in zoom and send zoom instruction, confidentiality agreement to teacher ;

-          Coordinate class surveys with instructors by the end of their class; Post survey result to social media if possible;

-          Coordinate poster designer to finish course design and post on website and Instagram ;

-          Minimum 2 hours contribution per week.

Qualifications:

-          Grade 9 or above in 2023-2024;

-          Self-driven and reliable;

-          Detail-oriented;

-          Good written communication skills;

-          Team player.

Program Planning Coordinator:

Job Description:

-          Regularly check BYJ’s email box for course registrations and inquiries;

-          Process course registrations;

-          Email course zoom link to the newly registered students weekly;

-          Respond to email inquiries from students and parents regarding course registration;

-          Coordinate class surveys with instructors;

-          Minimum 2 hours contribution per week.

Qualifications:

-          Grade 9 or above in 2023-2024;

-          Self-driven and reliable;

-          Detail-oriented;

-          Good written communication skills;

-          Team player.

Social Media Specialist:

Job Description:

-          Regularly develop BYJ’s social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Discord) to maintain and develop followers daily, digital advocacy-building with tangible organizational growth;

-          Make posters, publish course registrations, post activities and camps regularly;

-          Develop content for the organization’s digital platforms and communications weekly;

-          Track and increase engagement on social channels (growth, retention, interactions, conversions, etc.);

-          Plan, manage and optimize advertising campaigns; 

-         Ensure BYJ's social media is always up-to-date and reflective of current messages; 

-          Minimum 4 hours contribution per week.


Qualifications:

-          Grade 9 or above in 2023-2024;

-          Self-directed with excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;

-          Good and creative technical, analytical, and communication skills; 

-          Familiarity with social media platforms such as Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, linked in and Discord;

-          Outstanding ability to think creatively and identify and resolve problems;

-          Team player.
